Idk if you are trying to use sarcasm. But regardless:
- She lies/hides being in a relationship. For me, that takes away a lot of points.
- She is also sort of selfish in some scenes. With Josy having to take her shit.
- She is serious about the gender-studies, seems sort of a feminist. But modern feminism is B.S. in western society. Makes her less appealing.
- Lastly, while not bad, her face is the least feminine out of all the girls.
I am more surprised she did that good.

The crux of the matter is that this has made Zoey realize that the MC has moved on and will no longer return to Zoey. Zoey herself told Jacob that she won't get together with a friend of the MC because she doesn't want to do that to him. But that doesn't mean she won't get into a relationship with another guy who isn't a friend of the MC.
What did Zoey say to the MC in EP9? She doesn't want to lose the MC's friendship again. That's why Zoey won't date one of the MC's friends. That's why Jonah exists. Zoey will still come to the DIKs party and maybe take a course at college. But to fend off the advances of MC's DIK friends, she will present the gay Jonah, who flies under the gay radar, as her boyfriend. It's implied in EP10 for Zoey to invite Jonah.
Josy leads on the MC for 1 day (from the moment they set up the date up to their first kiss), then she reveals that she is in a relationship. It sucks, but is much better than Maya.
Maya leads MC for several days, has many more flirting and "sexy moments", and does a lot more than just 1 kiss before she considers telling MC. So Maya's deception is much worse.

She doesn't need such a legend and beard at all. If someone feels wrong vibes then it's their own problems. Other DIKs interested in her bc of her personality and because she is just cool to be around and party with. "A girl, but a bro". Classic one "I don't want this, I don't want that". It's a plot and story which is not "branchable" for a tonns of reasons. All MGs supposed to be a close friends of MC and between each other. MC may avoid relationships with all of them if you want so, but not their friendship. What's the sense to complain and whining here and there how you wish something was different. Don't play or deal with it.
For the same reason, no book or movie or TV series will be perfect. There will always be moments that someone will not like, the main thing is that there are not too many of them or the whole product doesn't consist of "disappointments" for a certain consumer.
